What does "안녕하세요?" mean exactly?
'안녕하다' is adjective and the meaning is "healthy(건강하다) and comfortable(편안하다)". '-세요' is short form of "시+어요", an honorific ending(높임말).
Usued to say hello or ask how you are doing. Therefore, this word has all the meanings "hello and how are you" in Korean.
So, there is no proper word for "how are you" in Korean, I guess.
